Frequently asked questions

How would I benefit from seeing a therapist?

If you’re looking for an objective third party to provide a safe space for you to process your feelings, seeing a therapist could be a great option. Sitting in the uncomfortable and learning to be vulnerable allows us to start the healing process.

Do you take insurance?

We don't accept insurance, but we can provide you with monthly superbills (statement of reimbursement) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement depending on your out-of-network benefits.

what are the costs of appointments?

Prices range from $125-$170 depending on session length and which clinician you choose to work with. We also offer meal support sessions, which are 20 minutes and $65.

You as the client have the right to request a "Good Faith Estimate" per the No Surprise Act. If you would like an estimate of services, you may request this from me. Please note that this is an estimation of services and may not be reflective of the total costs.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.

how long would we work together?

Our time together will vary depending on your needs. That being said, on average, we see clients for a minimum of six months. Six months allows us to take the therapy process at your pace, and get to the root of the problem.

how do i know if i have out-of-network benefits?

Call your insurance company to verify your out-of-network (OON) mental health benefits. The number to call is displayed on the back of your insurance card. Ask for “behavioral health” or “mental health” OON benefits.

Ask the following questions:
  • What is my OON deductible for outpatient mental health services?
  • How much of my deductible has been met this year?
  • Once my deductible is met, how much is covered by insurance?

How do I submit a superbill?

Superbills can be submitted via a variety of different methods: email, via a portal, or fax. It all depends on which method your insurance accepts. Call your insurance directly to find out how to submit claims and/or superbills for reimbursement.
